Formally, I’m a Real Estate Broker and an Accredited Investor.
Informally, I like to believe that I’m a “Problem Solver”and “People Person”.
WHAT MOTIVATES ME?...PASSION!
At one time I believed REAL ESTATE was my passion, but it’s really PEOPLE and PROBLEM SOLVING!
Real estate is merely the product. Without people, there's no need and no demand. Without solving problems, there would be fewer closed escrows and lots of unhappy people.
WHAT FUELS ME?....COMPASSION!
To see my clients and friend’s eyes light up and a smile come over their faces
when I help them, or save them something, brings me joy. That something could
be as little as saving them time, reducing or eliminating their stress, or
negotiating an unexpected discount on their behalf. The pinnacle of enjoyment comes at that WIN-WIN moment.
MY LIFE by the NUMBERS
Age 19, I was a homeowner (albeit a single-wide), at 20 a landlord and a
soldier serving in a foreign land. At age 28, I was a husband, a father and a
Realtor. Financial disaster by age 34, and by age 45, I was an "Accredited
Investor" and a landlord once again. In between the years I have either owned or managed several related businesses. Hands-on management is invaluable and
has allowed me to become the person I believe you would want on your team.
A Masters in Economics from Harvard, a Ph.D. from Stanford and a Political
Science Major from The University of Maryland were only dreams to me. I'm a
graduate of the School of Hard Knocks with specialized training in real estate
law, appraisal, lending and property tax issues. With hundreds of closed
escrows and thousands of purchase agreements written and reviewed, I have a
good handle on how to take a client from start to finish with a win-win outcome
